DISCOGRAPHY

SIGNAL COAST was started in 2020, right before quarantine, by Kijani-Ali Gaulman and Charlie Rapaport. They spent their time inside writing and then releasing their debut album, "The Turning Point", a project about misplaced love and finding oneself amidst troubling times. It wasn't long before they recorded and released their follow-up EP, "False Movement," a direct response to the pandemic and the death of George Floyd. They spent the next 2 years exploring new sounds and genres and working with new artists at their college SUNY Purchase. In the summer of 2023, they released their collaboration EP with dom ultra, "I'll Get To You Later". This showed the groups turn towards alternative hip-hop, as well as showcasing artists they would continue to work with closely and consistently. In 2024, they released their sophmore album, "Recollection Syndrome", a collection of modern experimental alternative hip-hop, featuring artists like dom ultra, RaidenX, DØR5N and julio.
